Well...It's here!
It arrived in a shiney pink postage bag as shown below!
I was so excited when I got my confirmation of shipping e-mail. I kept checking the status of my package and to my surprise it arrived the very next day!! I was so impressed with Canada Post because it was a standard package coming from the states.
As soon as I got it I opened it up like a kid on Christmas. Inside the pink packaging was two cards as well as the glam bag. One card indicated the special discounts we can receieve if we purchase products from the selected brands, and the second card was a coupon for a $110 off a Nume Hairstyling tool. At first I was thrilled because it was a huge dollar value, but upon reading the fine print it was noted that Canadian's can't participate due to shipping reasons. I was not impressed because obviously Ipsy has Canadian clients as well. The theme of the May bag was "Spring Fling".
In my glam bag I received:
Yaby concealer refill ($5)
Full sized Zoya nail polish in Neely ($8 value)
Full sized Pacifica roll-on perfume in Tahitian Gardenia ($12 value)
Full sized Juicy Beauty reflecting gloss in Pink ($15 value)
Trial sized NuMe finishing serum ($5, $29 for full size)
This was as $45 value glam bag and I paid $15 for it!
The nail polish is good, I'm not so sure about the colour, I would have preferred a purple or pink. It's nice to try new brands of nail polish though, I have never bought a Zoya before. Upon trying it, it seemed to last longer on my toe nails then other cheaper polishes, but once I tried it on my finger nails, it seemed a bit streaky and chipped off relatively easy after the first couple days.
I was really disappointed I didn't receive the vanilla perfume because that would have definitely suited my personality more. I really don't like the scent I received so I might give it to a friend or something.
I LOVE the Juice Beauty reflecting gloss. I love how they use all organic ingredients in the gloss. I think I'm really going to like this brand. I intend on making a few purchases from this company in the future because even though its a little more expensive, its definitely worth the organic ingredients. I wasn't so sure about the colour they sent me at first but once I put it on I really liked it. I did notice however that it didn't last long on my lips. Not a huge concern, because the organic nature of the product over rides the longevity of it.
The NuMe finishing serum scared me a little. I'd been in the market for a finishing serum, but it looked a little on the think/greasy side when I first opened it. I have used this product once and my hair became tame and shiny, but it turned my hair greasy very very fast. I'll definitely give it a chance since I have it though.
Sorry about the late post guys!
